Question CD player skipping after a track?

Hi all, I have a non-nav TCH. I have noticed an unusual behavior with the CD player recently. Sometimes, when listening to CDs, after a track finishes playing the next track on the disc will start approx 1 min into the next song. I do not believe this is a problem with the CD as sometimes when this is happening, I will select another disc in the player and it will exhibit the same behavior. This is happening a few times a week with completely different discs. It does not seem to be linked to driving over bumps or similar. It always happens at the completion of one track and skips about 1 min into the next track. It's as if there is a tracking problem with the player as it finishes a track. Has anyone else noticed this type of behavior?

Default Re: CD player skipping after a track?

I noticed when I burn CD's (wav format) it skips and sounds like crap but I took a closer look and saw the CD player plays MP3 format and never had a problem after I started burning in MP3 format. I believe all store CD's are in WAV format, try (if you can) your music in MP3 format and burn to a CD. At least try it, if you don't have a problem...

It may be the quality of CD, as stated above burned WAV CD's had issues well store CD's didn't. Some store CD's are cheap as well but....
