Default Re: Current year model or "next" year model?

Well take a look at a 2003 Corolla or Matrix. They've been around since Feb 2002 until Apr 2003 (2004s came out in May 2003).

Would you take an 03 or an 04 Corolla/Matrix with the same mileage?

Also, if you put a lotta miles on it, a 2008 might be worth more (esp. with the discount) because say you put 20,000 miles a year (and that's quite a bit right?)

So if you're selling next year (just for this comparison's sake), a 2008 with 20,000 miles looks better than a 2009 with 20,000 miles. In the mind of a used car buyer, that 20,000 miles on the 2008 could've been 10,000 miles a year.
