Agreed.

3 Phone buttons is one too many.
Radio controls I use and like.

However for a/c TEMP button? I think it certainly could have been left off the wheel to reduce clutter, but if they HAD to put that button there, I'm surprised they didn't make it the fan speed...I change fan speed MUCH more often than I change temp.

yeah no need for AC on steering wheel. Steering wheel buttons shoudl be for frequently used controls. I don't see AC as somthing someone is tweaking every few minutes.
