Ok so maybe this will seem obvious but our TCH isn't just saving us money in the TCH but also in my VW. Ever since we got the TCH and have made adjustments to our driving habits to maximize (within reason, I am not hypermiler) fuel economy I have noticed an interesting thing...a 3-5 mpg increase in the fuel economy of MY VW. I now drive a bit differently in the VW and it shows at the pump...what a wonderful benefit of TCH ownership.
Boy, your disciplined. If it were me, I'd probably use the other car as my "let loose" vehicle. I guess it's like they say alcoholism is: once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic, but you just take it one day at a time.
Drive it like a hybrid...hmm better MPG...duh
