I can't imagine they are doing any to benifet the environment... any old car using E85 will probably pollute more than if it used gasoline. E85 is probably too rich for the car to burn cleanly. Anybody have data on this?

I'm not sure if E85 is supposed to be much better for the environment. I think it's main advantage is that 85% of it consists of a renewable resource.
