Another caveat to enter -- This one in Section 10, first entry. (Nav vs Voice Commands)

State that the reference is for the Prius and there are some small differences. The biggest change is that the Prius' Climate Control system is integrated with the Voice Commands functions whereas the TCH Climate Control is a stand-alone non-integrated unit, therefore the commands such as Warmer and Cooler do not work.

Also, you may want to add the steps to get rid of Annoying Jill's (Irratiting Irene's) lead-in (such as "Say command after pressing button"). I can give the steps, if required.

Please write it up as you'd like it to appear, since I don't have NAV

Thanks!

Add a question mark after "Where can I learn more about engine oil".

Fix caps on:

Calculated Mileage -> Calculated mileage
Changing Your Oil and Air Filter -> Changing your oil and air filter
Is the US Tax Credit for the TCH still available? -> Are there any U.S. TCH tax incentives still available?

There are a few missing periods here and there as well (sorry for the nits).

Why do my brakes shudder during the first few stops?
  • Due to the nature of a hybrid vehicle, there are points in time when you may be applying the brakes without actually using the break pads. This is called regenerative breaking; which uses the HSD to slow the vehicle.

Since the brake pads are not used as often as in a non-hybrid vehicle, moisture can build up on the pads and rotors. If moisture is present, the pads may "slip" causing your brakes to shudder while applying them. This will happen until the moisture is burned off.

If this happens frequently, during more than the first few stops, you should consider contacting your service center.
------------------------------------------------------

If I incorrectly summarized this concern, could someone with technical knowledge please post a correction?

Thanks,
Mike

"break" should be "brake" everywhere it occurs.

While having passengers does increase fuel consumption, it is a false economy. We would be better off if instead of trying to maximize MPG we tried to minimize the gallons consumed per person.

ugh...sorry about the spelling!

as to the weight, sure it makes sense to car pool, but I thought it best to inform that weight will reduce the simple MPG calculation
