Well... Here's the update. I just got off the phone from Toyota Canada. and.. nada.

I'll be bringing my car in for the 20th Warranty Repair and Toyota Canada refuses to offer me even a complimentary extended warranty. - I'm very dissappointed. They're satisfied with my Camry Hybrid Experience. unbelieveable. I still haven't decided what I'll do. Not many options in Canada. No lemon laws in Ontario. They have a rather toothless arbitration process. If they had confidence in my individual car an extended warranty shouldn't have cost them any $. My radio has been replaced twice and the amp once as well. It still cuts out and I'll be back again next week. I asked the Toyota rep. How many replacements / other warranty repairs do they expect me to endure before they put me in a trouble free vehicle. Well you all know that that question was answered.

thanks for listening.

I bought mine at Orleans Toyota. But the drive is too far considering how many times the car has needed to go back for warranty work. After the 4 or 5th return to the dealer, I started bringing it to the closer dealer (Tony Graham, / Hunt Club). not impressed. I wouldn't buy from them. I spoke to Toyota Canada Last Tues. on Wed. they called TG and told them I'd be bringing in my car on Sat and that they need to provide me with a rental that Toyota Canada would comp. for them. I show up Sat. The service manager who Toyota Canada spoke went off for a 3 week vacation and didn't tell anyone that I'd be coming in. So I wasted that time on Sat. They wouldn't take my car, cause they didn't believe my story about the rental. I gave them the number and rep's name and ext. at Toyota Canada and they refused to contact the person. The asst. manager made me call Toyota Canada back to have them contact the dealership again to straighten things out. How the h. did that become my job?! -unprofessional to say the least. Did I mention that they mistakenly installed a beige sunvisor and pass. seatbelt into my grey interior car? - another wasted visit since I had to return 2 weeks later for the proper part to come in. Bad enough the order was goofed up. - not their fault some parts codes are goofed for the camry hybrid, but they installed it? - When it was finally installed with the proper colour. They tech didn't hook up the sensor to my pass seat belt. I had to return again. Many of my warranty repairs have been mulitiple visits due to such slips ups. One of the many times they were into my center console trying to quiet the horny crickets they scratched it up so I had to get a replacement plastic "shifter plate" . another needelss visit. I get nervous taking my car in. I hope others aren't experiencing my bad luck.

So far (knock wood) I haven't had any warranty issues with mine. But I certainly do sympathise with your situation. Reading the details of all of your past posts though leaves me wondering a little bit how much of your problems can be traced to Toyota defects versus really crappy service. The original problems are obviously defects, but a lot of the reasons you've had to go back seem to be attributable to the service department just doing a terrible job in the first place. The dealer should be stepping up and offering you some kind of compensation here. Since they aren't, I agree that Toyota Canada should recognize that what the dealers do reflects on them, and intervene.
I would suggest that with the trouble you've had at that dealer, you try another for your next service - maybe Bel Air on McArthur or Mendes on Bank. Tell them why you're switching dealerships. It might make a difference.
