Has anyone noticed that the temperature gauge on the TCH comes up to operating temperature VERY quickly?

I live on a road with a 55mph speed limit, so I get up to speed pretty quickly and then just cruise (usually with cruise control). I would estimate that by the time I have gone 1.5-2.0 miles, the gauge is already centered. The outside temperature has probably been about 65 degrees lately...

Maybe this isn't that unusual, but it seems really quick to me. Hopefully this means it will be blowing hot air quickly in the wintertime, too!

It's quite strange isn't it. After being parked for 12 hours, 30 seconds down the road (no exageration) it's already halfway to operating temperature. I too am really curious what it will be like in winter after a -20C start (can't remember off hand conversion to Fahreinheit, but suffice it to say ***** cold!).

Noticed it also. Ok, the car sits in the garage where it's pretty warm, but after less than 2 miles of local traffic (25 - 35 miles per hour) it's up to temperature and going to EV mode.

Electric heating element... I was told that in the winter after you drive to grandmas house for cookies and hot coco it will keep the water temp up there for up to three hours so after your done sipping your cup of coco and bundle back up to leave it should still be nice and cozy when you start the car and put the heat on, not to mention the toasty seats.
