Toyota has designed the TCH for FE by reducing the drag coefficient to .27, using higher pressure in the tires, recovering energy that would normally be lost, using electric motors for added torque and efficiency, and last but not least the ICE is ran at it’s maximum efficiency. It’s up to the driver to take advantage of this system that Toyota has designed to maximize his or her FE.
