Default HELP with Scangauge ii setup

I have a 2007 TCH and just purchased a new SC II. While I am not the brightest gear head around, I have spent several hours trying to get the settings correct and I am sure I have not put the right settings in the computer for my car. as a result I am getting the same mileage that the car computer is giving and this is just one of several readings that are off.

Does anyone have their SC II running well and could help me with putting in the correct engine and car info please? What other areas will my SC II not be in sync with my car computer?

HELP............please?

You may not receive really accurate tank mpg readings till you use a few tanks of gas. Be sure to go to the fuel? tank fill page and put in your gallons at each fillup. This helps the scan gauge become more accurate as you use it.

Be sure to put in your correct engine size, setup, engine 2.4, and fuel, tank gallons, 17. Also under fuel you need to set it for hybrid. That way it will stay on when the engine shuts down while driving.

I have had my scan gauge come closer to my calculated mpg than the mfd readout. I'm talking about maybe 1/4 mpg and as close as 2/10 of a mpg.

My favorite and easiest to see color is the baby blue background

I'm doing this from memory. I could be wrong on some of the above. The instruction booklet is in the glove box and it's too cold to go outside.
