Post "Hybrid" badges -- not identical?!?

*** foreword: the following is truly a nit-pick posting, read on at your own risk ***

While removing my TCH's badges for subsequent grafting (thanks to the great instructions on http://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/b...aft.10251.html), I noticed something peculiar... One of the two badges' lettering seemed slightly italicized, the other one not, see:

I bet they were made by two separate parts suppliers, hardly noticeable unless you put them side-by-side. Just an FYI to check your badges and see if you have that same "anomaly".

You're correct! The one on the driver's side of my wife's TCH is slightly italicized.

More likely it's just a normal variation within a single supplier's tolerance range.

Mine are still on the fenders, so side by side comparison is not an option.

I am more concerned about the fact that my rear HSD badge was holding a noticeable amount of water when I removed it.
