For me, the center console is perfectly illuminated, and I like the Jetson blue glow. On NAV models, you have the option in 'Map' mode to dim the screen by reversing the background from light to dark for night driving.

If all else fails, try RayBans.

I seriously once had to drive at night with sunglasses. I'd left my prescription glasses at home but could drive fine during the day with them, but then the sun set and I couldn't see clearly at night, but had prescription sunglasses in the car. That wasn't a very fun trip.
