One has to pay more to upgrade to the JBL radio. However, it doesn't sound all that great to me. The rear speakers seem quite weak and the sound is below average. Has anyone replaced speakers for better sound?
My JBLs sound just fine. Of course, it's no Bose system. What's the "standard" system? That's what I asked for, but I got the 6-disc JBL, no extra cost. I was under the impression the JBL is the TCH's "standard?"
Ok, looks like there's a single CD am/fm version. Weird that mine had the JBL but cloth seats, no sunroof. (I had my leather heated seats put in, via a 3rd party my dealer uses at a fraction of the cost of the factory upgrade!)

The listed standard equipment is as follows:
AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, auxiliary audio jack, six speakers and in-glass antenna
For 2007, the JBL system was standard. Starting in 2008, and continuing into 2009, it became part of the "Upgrade Package" that most (but not all) Camry Hybrids come with.

I just realized I have a JBL amp under the front passenger seat.
Would it be possible to bridge off that amp to go to a box with 2 10 inch speakers in them in the trunk?
