Default Just emptyed my 2nd tank...

FE: 44.9 on the computer, 43.8 by the manual method. It feels so good as the last trip to the gas station seems so long ago. Used to fill up every five days with my previous car. It is a great feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very impressive mileage. I'm almost ready to fill up for the fifth time and this will be my first tank above 40 mpg. What kind of conditions to you drive in to get that mileage? What do you do special (pulse and glide, no A/C, etc.) to get that kind of mileage?

.

I do use pulse and guide. My driving is predominantly on the highway...20 of the 22 miles each way. The only limiting factor with the pulse and glide as far as I am concerned is that my drive has a lot of ups and downs. Cannot pulse and glide when I am going up an incline(atleast I have not figured out a way to do it yet.. ). I have been using the AC in eco mode all the time. I live in Western PA-the terrain is not flat and the temp in the daytime has not dipped enough to turn off the a/c.
