Re: List of pertinent TSB's
Nash... thanks for combining the manual. This makes it a whole lot easier than opening individual PDF's

I tried to upload it too, but it failed on my end as well. The combined file is 3MB and well w/in the posted 10MB filesize limit, but maybe Jason lowered the original/posted limits (probably not a bad idea, actually!).
Now, about that "New Car Functions" set of PDF's... Does anyone know if it's solely for the TCH, or the Camry family in general? And since there are no real page or section #'s, it won't be as easy to recombine. Does anyone have a complete set?

TCH Only although there is some overlap. I have a separate set for the conventional Camry as well sans the Hybrid related stuff.

Re: List of pertinent TSB's
OK, I've combined the TCH New Car Functions PDFs into one. I've sorted the like sections togeather and ordered the pages. If you don't like the order, blame me Anyhow, some of you will notice a few oddities. So did I. There are two sets of different pages with the same page number! Pages EG-29 and CH-5 have dups, but the content is not duplicated.... Very odd. Also two pages appear to be missing. There are no pages EG-34 or CH-4. I hope you find this useful.

Thanks nash!!!
Darn it, if I'd only waited a couple more hours I would've been able to just take YOUR copy and not lose all this time making mine... :-( I had just finished combining each section (Foreword, New Model Outline, BO, BE, CH, EG, THS, etc) but hadn't bothered putting it into one "book" as yet. Now I don't need to anymore (after the ~2hrs spent so far), wish I'd check the post updates sooner.
As for dup pages, you're correct: the 2nd Page 29 ("4. Layout of Main Components") is supposed to be EG-34, and the 2nd Page 2 ("ATF WS") is supposed to be CH-04.
Can't agree on the missing pages, though. CH-04 is there but just mislabeled as CH-02 (as mentioned above), same for EG-34 (labeled as EG-29).
Hope this helps! Then again, I think you already knew that as well...

Re: List of pertinent TSB's
Nash and Schmidtj, Thanks for the New Car Functions Manual (and the Owner's Manual). When I first joined this site my wish was to get just this kind of info. I love seeing 'How It Works"

Re: List of pertinent TSB's
PG001-06 BATTERY MAINTENANCE FOR IN-STOCK VEHICLES & PRE-DELIVERY (REVISED)
11/28/2006 - All Scion and Toyota models and model years.
A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life.
As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer’s responsibility to maintain the specified State of Charge (SOC) of the vehicle’s battery while in stock and assure proper State of Charge (SOC) at delivery.
To eliminate customer service concerns due to an undercharged battery during the first few weeks of ownership, all dealers should check battery State of Charge (SOC) and recharge, if necessary, within 48 hours of delivery to customers.

Re: List of pertinent TSB's
1> Can someone sticky this thread?
2> Unless demand gets ridiculous, I can host files on one of my servers if needed.. Or should we just post notes here and refer people to sites like TundraSolutions?
