Re: Made the Choice - pulled the trigger
A clear plastic wrap that goes over the top of the bumper. Since its clear, it looks like the color the car but protects the paint from scratches at the point where the trunk opening meets the car. In the middle, it has the Toyota logo and sayd "Toyota." Its discreet.
My car came with it. Like a $54 option. When I have my bumper work done, I'll get a new one.

Re: Made the Choice - pulled the trigger
Great choice! I went with the ash interior. The Appliqué was already installed on my TCH when I got it. It turns out that it was a good addition. The rear bumper/lip behind the trunk is the main area on the car where dirt and water combine to produce drip spots. Having the appliqué means that the spots are forming on it and not on the paint. This is good.

Re: Made the Choice - pulled the trigger
I suppose the applique has some marginal functional value but at the price the dealer asks for it it's basically something to put the "screws" to a buyer and squeeze out some money for something that's about 99% profit.
You'll enjoy your new car regardless.

Re: Made the Choice - pulled the trigger
That is why I bought the rear bumper applique off of Ebay for $25 and installed it myself. Much more worth it for $25 than $54. Plus it was good practice for installing my own 3M clear bra on the front end in the future.

Re: Made the Choice - pulled the trigger
Update - My dealer called me. My car will be here in the middle of October. It's identical to the one I ordered - the original person that ordered changed their mind and now this car will be mine!
Needless to say - Ol' Big-Foot is PUMPED!!!!

Could you please explain how you did install clear bra? Where did you buy? Was it very difficult?
