Maintenance softare?? - GreenHybrid

Any of you guys use any "Vehicle maintenance" software on your PC's to keep track of your cars?
I always just used excel, but I was searching around and I found some software that was pretty handy.

I was just wondering if there is a "toyota standard" for software...

I used software for the Palm Pilot for years. I found that very little desktop software was as good as Excel or anything I could write for myself and none of it was as handy as what ran on the Palm.

Of course, my Palm eventually died and so I lost everything and went back to Excel.

If you have build-in navigation, there is a whole bunch of screens and tables related to maintenance, right on the LCD screen, inside your car.
As far as computer software, spreadsheet is the best, where you decide what's where and how it looks, really not difficult to do.
I hate MS Excel with passion and would never use it, especially the way it treats numbers as strings, not the numbers. It bugs me beyond reason why in hell typing 2+2 in a software dealing with numbers will not add the numbers and display 4, unless = precede it. So I use old Lotus 123 and free OpenOffice spreadsheet if I need Excel compatibility.

Yea, I found a bunch too. I was just wondering if anyone else was using any.
I have been using "Auto Maintenance Pro" by IMS and I like it the best so far. Its not free either ($35), But it has a nice layout.

I use a Palm Treo with Documents to go and I created a simple Excel/Sheet To Go spreadsheet to record the stuff. It's worked for 12 years...and it's free

I have been doing the same thing too! Except I have only been doing it for about 7 years and I use a Windows Mobile phone instead of Palm.

I have a pretty nice layout with my spreadsheet, but I just wanted something a little "prettier" and more automated. I tried about 10 different programs, I like the one I am using now the best.
