correct. You may update your disc at any time. Do note that once you use the new disc, your old one is useless and inserting it back in does nothing (odd eh?).

Actually, it has been found that ejecting the 6.1, replacing it with the 5.1, pulling the radio fuse for 5 minutes and then replacing it will force the Nav to reload its firmware off the older disk once you turn the ignition back on. This works for the TCH, at least.
