After 4200 miles and over 3 months, there is absolutely no squeaking in the center console of my TCH.
Wondering if I am exceptionally lucky or need a hearing test .

Just wanted to check what is the proportion of TCH owners on this board that have experienced this problem.

No squeaking problems after 3800 miles and 4 months.

Mine started squeaking after about 2,000 miles. It has been quite for over a month after fixing the problem myself.

None in mine yet (4 months, 12,400 miles). Then again I have not pushed and pulled in the way many describe "see, that's what I'm talking about when I push here it squeeks" Sorry, just kidding those of you with squeeks trying to demonstrate to the dealer the noise

Mine started squeaking two weeks after delivery at about 500 kms (in Canada). E-mailed Toyota Canada about the problem and was told to go to the dealership. Will either try the quick fix many have found effective or wait until the first oil change to get the dealer to look at it.

Mine started at about 2800 miles. I am surprised by how irritating the sound is - like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I had the squeaking from day 1. Installed the felt pads and haven't heard a squeak from the center console since (although the "softer" driver door rattle and center-dash rattle are starting to annoy me)

Where are you guys without the squeaks located (hot or cold climate) and do you run the AC most the time?

Plastic changes its structural properties during heating and cooling conditions.

Mine started at a little over 1,000 miles.

Located in MN. temps have been in the 50's all week no squeek yet.

Location Dunbar WV. Had the car since July 20, no problems nor squeaks. Temperatures have been in the 50's and 60's for the past few days.
