The squeak started within a week of ownership. I seem to lessen it by placing a rolled up glove between the driver's seat and the side of the shift console. It's been to the dealership twice for the problem. The first time, they applied felt around the clips holding the top portion of the shift console to the rest of the console. The squea went away for about a day. The second time, they said, "We've put felt everywhere in there and there's no tech bulliten yet". The squeak is still there but it's lessened. I'm still doing the glove thing and that pretty much gets rid of the rest of the squeaks.

I tought I had the only really tight 12v adapter - Is this a common problem ? Both the outlets are tight... I installed a two way plug (one innie - 2 outties) in the center console and everything now plugs in easy.

Mine just started squeaking at 3-mos. I've yet to find the how-to on the felt pad fix but will try it once I do.
