If you get the NAV system, the CD changer only handles 4 CDs. But even then, I got about 900 WMA format songs loaded in the 4 CDs. Enough music for a very long trip. And throw in the Sirius radio included with the NAV system in my TCH, and it is commercial free music non-stop.

It looks like the "JBL" system you mention is really the Panasonic/JBL system in the non-nav TCH. It has the 6-disc changer. The nav TCH has a Denso/JBL system with a 4-disc changer. It appears that either can control/tune XM IF you add the receiver:
"Use of satellite radio requires XM tuner and service. Contact your Toyota dealer for details." (From TCH Owner's Manual) I think you're going to have to mount an XM receiver someplace conspicuous. Maybe your Toyota dealer could confirm. If I find the pic online again, I'll post a link.

Do you actually have the Sirius installed with the TCH with Navi? If so, could you please post pics of both the antenna and, if there's a separate receiver, etc., that too? (Assume there isn't a receiver, but people keep saying there could be a separate one.)

Yes, the Sirius came installed with the NAV system from the factory as far as I know. There is no separate receiver I could see, but it may be buried in the dashboard behind the NAV system. I do know there is no separate Sirius receiver in the glove box or in the trunk.

The Antenna is a little triangular thing that supports both GPS and Sat radio and is on the inside of the windshield behind the rearview mirror.

You just made my day. Thank you. Was very worried from the posts here that there would be something ugly next to the third brakelight, etc. etc. Your pic looks identical to those I've seen with just the GPS/Navigation....which is what I thought it should be. THANK YOU.

One question & a comment:
1. Do you like the Sirius integration? Work nicely?
2. I noticed on the radio on cars w/Navi that you actually can see the name of the preset stations as well as the name of the song playing on the radio. I wasn't even aware this was possible and was pretty happy to see this cool feature. For those that don't know about it, it will be a nice surprise. (Really cool.)

Yes, the Sat radio works well with the NAV system. I especially like the ability to talk to the voice recognition system built in to the NAV(push a talk button on steering wheel) and say "SAT". The system then switches to the SAT radio. Or you can say "CD" or "FM" or "AM" to switch to those audio options. And then up and down buttons on the steering wheel lets you change stations.

I have a stupid question.... When test driving a TCH with the NAV system I tried to find the CD changer but couldn't find it. Is it trunk mounted? There was no slot in the dash like on the non NAV units.

Underneath the navi screen. Have to push the load button and it pops out perpendicular.
