Default Ouch

I'm six feet tall...has anyone else hit their head on the handle bar above the drivers side door when quickly looking over your left shoulder?

I've done it a few times now....it hurts. LOL

I wonder if it can be removed.

6 ft here, and no, that hasn't happened...perhaps you have the driver's seat set up higher than I do?

I'm 6-1 and have never had that problem. I never look left!

Seriously, I set my seat down pretty low and back. Try a different seat position and see if this helps.

Hmmm....I'll try adjusting the seat a bit.

It happens when I'm driving in one particular area where traffic merges and I have to look quickly to my left and over my left shoulder. (Boston drivers) I'm surprised no one else has had this happen.

Whoever replied below sayin..."I never look left" LOL...THAT was funny.

I'm 6'3, no problem here either but I have my seat all the way down and the seat is reclined more than typical. I hate seating straight up, SUV style and prefer seat pretty much right on the floor. Keep in mind, if you have sun roof you're loosing about an inch of space.

The handle bar or your head?

HA! "The handle bar or your head"...that was funny!

Anyway, I'm 6' 2" and haven't banged the nugget yet. I sit fairly high up (last vehicle was a Suburban and I miss the "commanding" view--but not the gas mileage). I have noticed the moonroof is a little close, though.

At 6'6" tall I feel obliged to chime in: I have no problems with head room in the TCH. The first thing I do in any car I drive is to set the seat position as far back as possible and the rear seat height as low as possible. I tend to raise the front portion of the seat to provide some thigh support and keep the seat back pretty close to vertical. Even with the sunroof in the TCH I clear the ceiling. It's close, but there's still a fraction of an inch to spare!
