If I want the clean fuel plate to use the HOV lanes I only have 6 characters to play with. I tried BGREEN, B GRN and BE GRN but they're all taken.

I also tried
GRNCAR - taken
CLNCAR - taken

In desperation I tried "40 MPG" - also taken

How about:

HIMPG or H1MPG
NOHUMR
LESSCO
HYBRID or HYBR1D
SIPGAS

Just a few ideas. Some are more out there than others.

Orcrone, I have a feeling that with all the Prii and such around NoVA there are slim pickins left. You could try NOPEC though.

HIMPG or H1MPG - "HIMPG", "HI MPG" taken, but "H1 MPG" available.
NOHUMR - Taken, but that's OK. Sounds like I don't have a sense of humor. However, "NO HMR" and "NOHMMR" are available.

LESSCO - Available, but it took me too long to figure out what it means.

NOPEC and NOOPEC taken. Perhaps I should have gotten a green license plate a number of years ago and stuck it on my 16 mpg Explorer.
