Emailed 6 dealers in a 30 mile radius via their web sites. One of the highest standard quotes came back later with a personalized quote that agreed to give me the base TCH for what I asked for, namely $25,000 + $580 destination charge + $39 tag fee. No documentation fee as I had clearly stated that I will not pay it. These prices were based on old Edmunds invoice prices.

I took delivery of the vehicle 2 days ago, 9/23/06. I have gotten a vehicle $900 under MSRP and there was a $40 less on destination charge since they calculated using old rates, and a free $30 option of heated mirrors that I had not asked for.

Finally, I got my loaded 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Titanium Metallic/Ash Leather $32,500 OTD with the following options...:

CQ (Convenience Pkg)
SR (Moon Roof)
CF (Carpet Mats and Trunk Mats)
MG3 (Color-keyed Mud Guards)
NV (Navigation System)
LA (Seat Trim Leather Surfaced)


I am so glad I sold my 2006 4Runner LTD V8 4WD and got me this beauty... What a great vehicle and shape, I could not be happier, so far I get over 38-40MPG in mixed driving with less than 200 miles in ODO ...

The TCH base MSRP appears to be going up $300 (from $25,900 to $26,200) effective with cars built 11/1 or later (or landed from JPN after 10/31).

My KY manufactured TCH is scheduled to arrive at the dealer on 11/2 and shows a base MSRP of $25,900. TCH's arriving at my dealer later in Nov. show a base MSRP of $26,200.

The MSRP for Options appears to be unchanged.

FWIW - My local dealer says that 'special order' TCH's will continue to be manufactured in Japan. Normal dealer allocation TCH's will be manufactured in KY.

Note: Since I originally posted this, my dealer has advised that I will be getting a JPN TCH on 11/14 vs. a KY TCH on 11/2.
