Default Radio Screen to Telephone & Back

I have the Nav option. When using the steering wheel controls, it returns you to the Nav screen, not the radio or last used screen. The dealer was no help although they will make a call to the tech tomorrow.

Any ideas, I have tried to adjust a few screen settings, no option obvious.

Mine did this for a while too, I had to go into one of the settings screens (don't remember which one, it was a while ago, and I was just messing around with it) but I think you press the MENU button, then go to (screen?) Settings, the option to keep the screen from reverting to the previous screen should be there in a menu, along with the option to change the screen color from green to orange.

I think, anyway. Hopefully I didn't confuse you!

I've set that setting so it'll stay on the audio screen, but every time I use the handsfree it goes from the telephone screen back to either the map screen, or the Info screen, whichever it was set to before the Audio screen. That's the behavior we're seeing.

OH! well, see, i can't make my phone sync with the car, so I haven't gotten to experience that that's odd though, does it to it mid-call or after you hang up?

After you hang up it reverts to the screen before the audio screen.

Why would it return to the map screen or info screen if it was on the audio screen when you started.

Here's what happens:

The screen is set to audio (and the option is set to stay on that screen and not revert to the map screen). Use wheel button to make a call, screen goes to telephone screen. Hang up call, screen reverts to map screen.

Why the map screen? It was on the audio screen when this process started!!

HA! I get it now!!!! I'm a little slow today. I don't know why it would do that? I will have to play around with it using a different phone that will sync with it. That's a stupid problem though, and it makes NO sense whatsoever.

jay_man2,

I tried that to no avail both ways, I even took out the NAV disk and reloaded. I do not believe it always did this. I find is annoying.
