Question Rear deck vent - fan sound?

I heard what appeared to be a fan sound from the rear deck today...I'm not worried, as I expect this is normal...it ran for just a few seconds, maybe 5 or so, and then went off. I usualy have the music playing, but today, I was just enjoying the weather and the extreme quiet of EV mode...and I heard it.

Has anyone else heard the rear deck battery vent making a fan type sound? I wasn't aware there was an actual electric fan there, figuring it was just a passive vent to exhaust extra battery heat....

Not yet, but I don't live in AZ. I'll probably hear it more in the spring.

I think it has something to do with the emmissions system, and not actually the battery vent. It probably sounded like it came from the battery vent, but I would be willing to bet it actually came from the gas tank area.

It may be the cooling fan?
