Default ScanGuage II info

I've just received a ScanGuage II to supplement info in base TCH (no NAV).

It is (temporarily) installed on top of steering column just in front of instrument panel - where it seems to not obscure any warning icons.

The extra 6-feet-or-so of cabling is wrapped tightly with twist ties, and jammed under the dash just to the right of the OBDII port connector.

Where have other users placed their ScanGuage?

How have you dealt with the extra cabling?

Could you live w/o your ScanGuage II?

Islander, pls check out this thread:

It has pictures & all (Squint: thanks again!), mentions options for hiding extra cable, etc...

As for living w/o SGII, yes I am one of them who's no longer using it -- at least for the past couple of months. Had it for just 3 months or so, now it just sits idle inside at home. I thought of perhaps hooking it up to our van just to see what kind of FE it would register, but eventually never did...

Any takers? PM me with an offer...
