Default TCH Base Price Increase

I ordered my TCH in mid-November.

The car should arrive shortly, but I was told by my dealer today (12/18/2006) that the base MSRP price (including delivery charge) has increased by $300 -- from $26,575 to $26,875. The dealer sent an updated "pre-sell" sticker to confirm.

None of the other options I ordered (navigation, XM install, moonroof, etc) increased in price.

I will still get the car for the agreed-upon price (without the $300 increase passed on) and the dealer is still making a lot of money. But I'm glad I did not wait to see about getting a TCH.

Welcome aboard, AusTexan! Yes, the prices have indeed gone up $300 since Nov 1st, see at least ONE earlier thread:

Default Re: TCH Base Price Increase

I did a search for TCH for fun yesterday, and the SW Houston region pulled up 4 pages of cars available. I know that some of those are "prespoken for" cars, but when I bought at most there was 3/4 of a page of cars listed. I doubt you should have a problem getting what you want, even without ordering, and with that kind of surplus, you should be able to get a fairly good deal even with the price increase.
