Default TCH beats out Altima & Aura in Edmunds Hybrid shootout

Link to Edmunds Hybrid shootout between Saturn, Nissan, & Toyota.

The Camry Hybrid beats out the Saturn Aura Hybrid & the Nissan Altima Hybrid. The Honda Accord Hybrid wasn't tested because they left the field of battle.

Wait a second, wasn't GM building full electric cars like 10 years ago, EV1? Didn't they spend like billion dollars to develop all the systems and build those cars? And that Saturn Aura is the best they can come with now??? After all the research and experience they should have gained from that project they can't even build the car that can even pretend to be a hybrid? You know what , company like this deserves to loose it's leadership and I wouldn't be surprised if they went out of business alltogether in the next 10-15 years, I don't think there is help for them. At least they could copy some of the stuff from Prius, which is already 9 years in the market or even Honda Insight.

I could not agree more and what makes GM/Ford/and all like companies to "still survive" is by giving their vehicles away "free"... they will never learn...

Well not according to Wheels.ca. They rated Altima Hybrid better than Camry hybrid.

It is all based on opinion. I never test drive Altima Hybrid so i can't say but it is true Altima is well known for its power but Camry for its comfort. Both averages around the same FE.

But it all depends whether you like Camry or Altima. Lets not get into a Car wars here.

Fuel efficiency is more than opinion, and as far as getting into car wars, this is a TCH thread. Posting this in an Altima or Aura thread might be provocative. Car performance will vary with the course, the driver, and the programming of its computer, so it should be no surprise that test reports don't agree. Statistical analysis of the reports from a large number of users will give the most accurate results.
