Default Thanks to milage posters

Last week there were only 18 cars showing their milages. There are now 27!.

There are a lot of TCH's out there, would be nice to see how we're all doing (rather than just us fanatics)

I just added my new TCH

I filled up at half a tank. It took 7.85 gallons and went 327 miles. The dealer gave me a full tank, and I'm not sure if they tried to top it off or not. The average mpg readout was 40.7 mpg - I calculated 41.6. The next fill up be a better indicator.

I've been very amazed that I can consistantly exceed the EPA 38 mpg on my commute (33 miles, all but 4 on the freeway) Quite an amazing feat considering the size and weight of the TCH! I pretty much drive the limit (65mph) and try to make the last mile home on EV only. Most times I can, despite it being a slight uphill and 35mph. I think a year of driving my FEH has helped train me to drive for better mileage!

I did increase the tire pressures to 42/40 psi after reading about it here. I don't really notice any difference in ride or road noise.

Wondering if this board could sell nice decals to advertise (not the bumper stickers found in the site store, they are a bit ugly, sort of defame your car :>) Thinking something like the ones you can get from e90post.com here. The more we spread the word on the site, the more use it the more we benefit.

I'm not a sticker type of guy. However I am interested in liscence plate frames, personalized plates and other attractive options to "illuminate" the hybrid features.

Some one mentioned that the hybrid emblem needs to glow green in the dark???

Assume you've seen Greenhybrid's license plate frames here? They're a bit generic....

If custom plate frames are your thing, I recommend Gunther Gifts and their "Best in Hard Chrome" plate frames. You choose whever you want the plate frame to say, and they create a wonderful looking plate frame for you. {Hypermilers, beware: the hard chrome plate frames are pretty heavy for their size. } Everyone else: the frames are pricey and if you get a slogan that's too popular I'd worry about theft potential; just an FYI.

The picture doesn't do it justice, but here's the hard chrome plate frame on my FEH:

(I'm a geek; the plate frame inscription is way geeky and matches my "Starfleet Academy" sticker on the back window.)
