I'm due to have my TCH go in for its 5,000 mile service tomorrow at Toyota Carlsbad in Carlsbad, CA (North San Diego County). In addition, I'll be having the service dept. fix the center console squeak. I'll be taking along the relevant TSBs - NV005-07 and EG0118-06.

Has anyone had experience with this dealership's service dept? I'm a little nervous about them using the correct oil and truly fixing the center console squeak. I'm curious to hear others' experiences with this dealership.

In addition, for fellow San Diegan TCH owners: have you experienced great or less than great service at your local dealership? If Toyota Carlsbad gives me any trouble, I might just take my business elsewhere and would like to know which dealerships in the county have reliable service depts.

my vote is NO to Mossy Toyota. You can search for an older thread about it, but it was generally crappy service.

In case my previous posts haven't made it clear enough, Mossy bites BIG TIME. I bet that Kearny Mesa Toyota would be good because they're a Penske dealer.
