I had the Toyota XM kit installed in my TCH by my dealer today. I had previously had Formula 1 Pinnacle Ceramic 35% Tint installed on all the windows except the windshield.

The Formula 1 Pinnacle Ceramic tint does not interfere with the XM antenna reception when it is installed on the rear deck per Toyota's directions. I have excellent reception and have programmed all 18 presets spread all over the channel spectrum.

I have had the similar results in previous vehicles with Pinnacle tint and I highly recommend it if you are concerned about your tint interfering with add on electronics....

Someone usually asks about the cost so I'll go ahead and answer that now.... The XM kit installed was $450 at my dealer in Canton, Georgia... The window tinting was $300 at SolarWorks in Alpharetta, Georgia...
