We badly want to buy a small teardrop trailer (about 1000lbs), to tow with our 2010 Camry Hybrid. I know all the negative stuff, but has anybody actually put a hitch on and towed a trailer for a decent length of time and distance? Would really appreciate some (quick) feedback (want to go away for the holidays). Thanx

 

The Camry Hybrid is not recommended as a towing vehicle due to the all-electric operation the car is capable of and the PSD not being designed for the extra weight. Having said that, there have been members that have towed small (less than a 1000 pounds) trailers with motorcycles on them without any adverse affects. If it does create a problem however, you might be hung with a repair bill
