Angry What the He__??!?!?!

So I am driving along listening to a CD in my non-nav system, when the radio just freaked out. It began ejecting CDs until they were all out, and the display just started showing gibberish. Touching any button turns the power off, but here is the weird part-the radio (AM & FM) still works even with the goofy displays. If you try to change channels on the dash, it powers down, but all the steering wheel controls still work, and so does the bluetooth phone. The lights on either side of the CD slot are alternating between green and orange...New radio time, huh?

Maybe computer inside crashed? I would pull radio fuse out for few seconds and see if that helped. Also it could be something stupid like sticking button or bad wire. Otherwise it's time to go to the dealer.

My non-nav stereo acts a little weird sometimes.. not nearly as weird as yours. But sometimes if I am listening to a cd and I hit the FM button it will display the last FM station that I was listening to but I won't hear anything. I have to go back and forth between AM and FM a few times before the radio starts working again.

UPDATE--

Went out and started the car this morning, all was well. Called dealer, shop guy said "Hmm. Sounds like you had a glitch in your system." No kidding. I had already diagnosed a friggin' GLITCH. I was told that if it happens again, drive straight to dealer so they can see it. Will keep y'all posted. Thanks for replies.

I had my display on my 07 RAV4 go wacko a couple of times. Of course, it wasn't going to happen while I was anywhere near the dealer (famous "could not duplicate" error). I took a picture of the display with my cell phone camera to the dealer. They ordered a new radio on the spot. Should be here in about a week. Note: There is a TSB out on display problems with many RAV4 radios. I don't know about problems with the TCH.
