Re: Wiper Problem
I haven't had problems with the stock wipers but I've heard good things about the PIAA silicone ones.
Silblade makes silicone wipers in a winter format:

People report that the silicone wipers hold up better than regular ones which is what you'd expect.

Re: Wiper Problem
I bought the frameless wipers that Wal-Mart stock — their brand is Viewmax Plus, and they stock only one. (The driver's side requires a 24" and the passenger's side a 20" size.) So far so good, but the first freezing rain will tell! Certainly they seem to conform to the windshield on the passenger's side better than the stock wipers, which have the contacting problem outlined by others above, as soon as the temperature drops below freezing. They seem well made, and fit straight out of the package. The price (in Canada) was C$15 (~US$13) each.

Re: Wiper Problem
Hi folks,
New guy here.
I just picked up my TCH tonight (Sat 1/20) and thought I'd share......
I have been using the new frameless Bosch Icon wiper blades on all my cars for the past 6 weeks, up in rainy (snowy, cold, yucky) Seattle. These Bosch Icon wipers are SUPERB! No streaking, no problems. I am going to pick up a set tomorrow.
FYI, per the Bosch site, the part numbers for the Camry are;
424A Diver's side
420A Passenger side

Re: Wiper Problem
Bosch Icon is still the best I even got.
I had them on my Sienna as well as TCH. They worked fine on snow and ice.
Instead of getting the stock size, I downsized mine to 22" (driver) and 18" (passenger) for winter. It provides better pressure on it.

Re: Wiper Problem
Yup my OEM wipers make a mess on the passenger side when cold or icy, especially with road salt spray. Once warmed by daylight or sitting in a garage, they work fine.. time to try those winter blades...

Re: Wiper Problem
I put Rain-X on the windshield, use Invisible Glass to clean it regularly, and wipe the blades down each time I clean the glass. No worries here; the blades do the job properly, and don't chatter a bit. Even during the snow "storm" we had yesterday, they performed just fine.
