HOWEVER, I am totally facinated with the Energy and Consumption screens. I'm sure that the understanding of the system I have been able to gain from watching these is the difference in my 38.7 average versus the 36 many are getting. Granted that's not really worth a lot of money but it has provided a lot of satisfaction if not an additional level of SMUGness.
Now, I took the leap and got my wifes cell phone traded out for a Motorola RAZR cell phone with Bluetooth capabilities. It was a snap to hook up and now my wife has a hands free voice operated phone system. A "hard" hands free system in my company car was almost $300 and it's ugly. With this system it measures your battery charge, lets you know ho's calling and times the call. Probably does other things as well.
Bottom line, if you want the TCH because of it's advanced technology, then the way to showcase that technology is with the NAV system.
I am curious does the bluetooth / telephone screen on the non-NAV system work similar to the NAV syaytem? Or do you simply have a bluetooth connection without the screen?

I didn't think the Razor supported the battery level indicator via Bluetooth. I went with a Sony Ericsson (fully supported by Toyota) and it's really slick. Especially being able to transfer the entire phone directory in one operation.
When I was looking to replace the wife's car, Bluetooh was a mandatory option after we became dependent on it with my Prius (which I later traded up to a Camry HV).
I don't know how the Non-NAV Bluetooth works. I read the manual but without having access to the Non-NAV version I didn't make to much sense out of it.
