Is it that the cover is the same but the lights on the car are different? I don't need the light, but just the cover. You're telling me a plastic cover costs $70!!!!!!!

Looks like $97 is correct. Maybe yutaful didn't get oem parts but got aftermarket.

Hybrid tail lights and 03-05 sedan tail lights are the same. Get the cheaper of the two.

Yup, I got an aftermarket part vs. a Honda part. It was cheaper, and looks and works just as well as my other taillight.

And TI71 is correct, the taillights for at least all 04-05 Civic sedans (if not 03-05) are the same, including the Hybrid. If you really want the Honda part, then check for an 04 Civic sedan taillight... that will fit your Hybrid.

.

Cheers,
Yuta

http://www.qaparts.com/

I have had good luck with these guys for other cars. They'll search a regional database and find any salvage yards who have your part and ship it directly to you. Generally half or less the cost of a new OEM part.

Look closely at the hole above the first i in civic. This is the screw you have to get to be able to get the light off. You can only reach it by getting under the car.

Here's a close look.
