Hey, thank you for reading this. I own a HCH 03, it trembles, kicks back when i first press the gas, before it gets to 1 (on the left hand side of the circle with numbers). However after number 3 it's fine. But from bellow 1 to 2, it kicks back a lot like it's going to die, but it never does. the trembling is only when i first take off from a stop. This has been occurring for over 1 yr, getting worst each month. Gone to autoshops, and nothing. the engine light just turned on 2 mos ago, and the maintenance light is on and i just did an oil change not too long ago!!! Anyone???

You will find it on the plate at the top of your dashboard, where it meets the windshield, or it will be on your registration

The VIN could be important because it can give you information regarding any recalls that affect your particular car model/year. If your problem is due to one of the recalls, you can probably have it taken care of by Honda dealer, possibly at no cost to you. They should be familiar with some of the more common recall problems for certain year cars.

Hi ALE i don't know if this is your problem but it was my problem when my 03 HCH was kicking and bucking. I had a bad EGR valve. I replaced it and it ran like a new car.

Hey thank you so much! i made time to take it to the dealer and see if there are any recalls, and it turned out that there are at least 3... so, and it won't be out of pocket, because they extended the warranty on the parts that needed the recall... in my case it's the transmission and some reprogramming and some adjustments.

i hope this solves my problem!!! I will keep it posted if it does, if not i think i'm going to cry, because i feel my car is going to die in any minute now.
