I was talking last night to the spouse about getting the car into the motoring without using the engine downhill mode. I was pleased that I can go almost the entire mile long downhill slope without having the ICE burning fuel.
She said:

yes, it was that shocking.
She said: "It's a car. Just drive it."
or maybe I'm too involved in the dashboard mpg game........BUT in my defense, I calculated how much less I spent on gas this month. I spent $152 less on gas since I got "Little Puttputt." Now, to get past that first car payment in 5 years....
