Had a very minor bumper thumper on the way home Friday evening.

No structural damage and no one hurt.

The rear bumper had minor cosmetic damage to it. (The guy that hit me couldn't have been going over 3mph.)

Repair estimate to remove, replace, and paint the rear bumper cover: $700.

The aggravation of having my new car repaired: Priceless

Oh, well, at least no one was hurt.

Ouch! Bumper replacement for a 3mph crunch that did cosmetic, not structural, damage?

Add a one in front of that 3 and I could see replacing the bumper due to it taking more impact force, but 3 miles per hour? I hit the ground faster/harder than that when I fall while mountain biking!

I've got a repaired rock strike on my driver's side of my windshield. Happened 4 days after taking ownership of my hybrid. Such is life, I guess. Still would've preferred it happen to my 14 year old vehicle, instead!
