Default Buying out of state

I live in California.
I can get the 06 HCH cheaper out of state.
Here are my concerns.

Will I get the longer AT_PZEV warranty that California and other clean states mandate?
I think we get 10 year and 150,00 miles on all the battery instead of the 8-year 100,000 warranty the other states get.
Does Honda go by the state in which the new car was sold?
Or the California address of residence that I give the dealer when I buy the car?
Or the first state that the car is actually registered in?

Will the sticker under the hood say California Emission Standards?
(I just called the California Dept of Motor Vehicles - they say without California emissions mentioned on that sticker I can't register it in California)
I believe HCHs sold in all 50 states are AT-PZEV BUT - that sticker under the hood has to actually state that it meets California Emissions Standards.

Can you help me?
If your 06 HCH was purchased in a non-clean state could you lift your hood, look on your label under the hood and tell me if it actually says "California Emissions Equipped"?
I'd hate to fly to this state and look under the hood and realize I wasted a plane ticket and have the buy another ticket to get back home.

Hi Kenny:

___Wow, an HCH-II when you were doing so well in your HCH-I

___The Honda OEM Warranty will be in place for the state in which the vehicle is registered, not from the state you purchased it from. I purchased the PZEV Accord from MA. but since I live in IL. and had to register it in IL., I lose the 10/150 K emissions warranty. If I move to CA. in the very near future (a distinct possibility ), I again regain the 10/150 because it is now registered in a Clean Fuel state! All the HCH-II’s are AT-PZEV and you will have CA. emissions from your HCH-II no matter where you purchased it from.

___If you want to speak with a Honda rep on this issue, call them using your HCH-I’s Honda-Link contacts.

___Good Luck

___Wayne R. Gerdes

Even the ULEV HCH meets California Emissions Requirements; the regular '06 Civics are ULEV but the vast majority of cars aren't even that. I think the reason Honda sold only PZEVs in CA for the first generation was to meet some sort of fleet average thing...
