Default Does your HCHII have a "Hybrid" badge on the side?

My '06 and '07 don't, but this pic appears to have them (I think they are '07s).

Based on the title of the picture, it looks like it's a Canadian thing eh? I don't think I want a badge on my side. I'm probably already giving hybrids a bad rep by driving under the speed limit so why advertise it some more .

Commuter car, grocery getter, and summer road tripper--average 10k miles per year.

Winter road trips and ski trips, bad weather commuter and my wife's "daily" driver--expected average 4k miles per year.

Not a bad looking mod... definitely not factory in the US or Canada.

OK, I will revise my statement: Based on the title of the picture, it looks like it's an MSantos thing eh?

kristian, I would guess you are right.

My problem is that when I had the 07 Prius in the garage next to the HCH, it felt like the Prius was somehow better "dressed". I know this sounds silly, but I never really noticed the absence of the side badges until I had them side-by-side. As the days went on that discrepancy started to annoy me a little. So I got the badges on my 06 HCH.
When the 07 HCH arrived, the dealership installed the same badges on the new one.

Anyhow, I figured that these badges still don't scream out loud enough unless someone cares to look. It is kind of the same story with the Camry Hybrid if I may say so. Pretty generic looking until you care to look.

Cheers;

MSantos

.

I ordered two badges from the dealership and put them on myself. The cost about 23 bucks a piece.

Yep, I've got 'em, too. Seemed the right thing for letting people know, in a low-key way, that I'm savin' energy. I've had more conversations w/ people at traffic lights and filling stations started by those two shiny badges. Don't mind spending the extra $40, but do thing they should be standard.

Four-passenger, stop-n-go, schoolbus-commute.
Just arrived, "Electra" the 06 HAH... yes, now we're a two hybrid family.

I too don't like wearing that sort of stuff, even brand names. Even more so on a t-shirt. I should be paid to advertise, IMO
