Default FS: 07 Civic Hybrid wheels and tires

I apologize up front if advertising a FS item is not PC on this forum, but I wanted this group to know that I am putting the Civics OEM 15" rims and tires on the market. As many of you know, I took these rims off of the car on delivery, so they only have about 50 miles on them. They include the hubcaps and wheel lugs. They would be perfect for an extra set of wheels for winter tires. Asking $695. PM me if interested.

Hey Gary, would you mind very much weighting them to see how much they weight? Since you've got it off anyway? I'm very curious about its weight.

Btw, I wish I could buy these wheels for my sister's HCH1. That would be a good upgrade I think... :-)

Default 07 Civic Hybrid wheels and tires weight

The combined weight of the wheel and tire is 36 lbs.

According to Tirerack's website, the Bridgestone tire is 20 lbs., so that makes the rim 16 lbs.

Gary,

Did you take a look at the wheels I replaced mine with ?

You can use your tires and these wheels and never change anything but the look.

If you have already made your decision I would like to see Pics of what you decided to go with.

Terry:

Here are the wheels and tires we replaced the Hybrids with:

Not very original, but very stealthy.

Thumbs up Re: FS: 07 Civic Hybrid wheels and tires

Gary nice look. Say are those wheels and tires from the Honda Accord line of cars?

They remind me of Accord Wheels. I like the look.

Gary here is a thought for you on something I think makes a big difference in driving at night. Silverstar Bulbs and you can get them in Pacs of Two for the Low Beams and High Beams.

Where at Wallmart. They work especially in the rain at night. Much brighter, whiter light.

They are take-offs from an 07 Civic EX.

Question Re: FS: 07 Civic Hybrid wheels and tires

Gary, are the 07 Civic Wheels and Tires 16" ???
I take it that they, the size difference in Height has not effected the CVT or Electronics that control everything. I know I did look at 16" wheels at tire rack and there was no problem switching to them because you just go with a lower profile tire.

So what are the size of the 07 EX tires ???

Terry (tiger)

BTW, I'm sure you did all the research on this change before you did it I just am curious about how it has worked out for you in FE ?? Do you really notice any differenc or is it way to soon to know ??
