That $600 won't really make the country lose money. It's just the government re-distributing money it already took from us.

I pay thousands in taxes every year, and I'm getting back $600. Others who pay NO taxes will receive more than I do because they get extra money for every kid they have. These are the same people who enjoy the Earned Income Credit -- where they pay no taxes but still receive a "refund" every year.

Welcome to the world of re-distribution!

My question is this: If $600 is will stimulate the economy, then why not make it $6,000? Or $600,000? Imagine how much I could stimulate the economy with that much money!

In other words, if Congress can boost the economy by giving us back a fraction of our own money, why not give MORE back, and avoid a recession altogether?

Because it's all BS. And this is the cheapest BS they could come up with -- $163 billion.

Don't forget, when they gave us the $300, it was a ADVANCE on our next years tax refund, we, in reality, got nothing.

This is no advance.

Back on topic. I filed with Taxact last night and it was fairly easy -- Hybrid credit included.
