Default Good and Bad News...

The good news is that I got my best tank today! 54mpg with 557 miles on a tank!

The bad news is I noticed that my rear driver-side is lower than my rear passenger.
I really have no idea why this is happening. Nothing in the trunk, but the spare wheel. I did have the trunk packed full when we went on vacation, but I can't imagine that it was so heavy that it would cause the car to "list" to one side.

I have noticed, lately, that when I get in and out, the car creeks. I'll be calling my Honda dealer tomorrow to get it checked out.

Hopefully the warranty will cover it.

Take Care,

Jess

Jess,
Now I always thought that a 'creek' was a small river or brook. So where is all this water coming from when you get out of the car?

How much weight did you have back there? And did you hit any bumps while fully loaded?

Ha ha. How embarrassing. It must be my driveway. I parked it at my daughter's daycare and saw that it was level. No listing at all. Thankfully.

Still getting 54mpg. Ever since I had the oil changed with Mobil 1 0w-20 oil the mpgs have gone way up and stayed there.

Take Care,

Jess

I don't think Honda uses Mobil 1. They have their own brand. Some say it's not the same as Mobil 1 and prefer to change their own oil or bring it to the dealer, like I did.

Take Care,

Jess

Which side is the gas tank on? If it is full, it might give a little dip.
It is faintly possible that if it is on the passengers side, then Honda might have set it up to be even at "full tank", so with the tank empty the pass side could be higher. On the other hand, maybe it is on the drivers side, and is set to be even at 1/2 tank-when it is full, the drivers side might be a bit lower.
Strictly A GUESS, OF COURSE.
CHARLIE

Jess already said it was the driveway causing the tilt.

Thank you for the input Phoebeisis, but it was just driveway. The car is nice and level.

Take Care,

Jess
