Default Have you changed your own Pollen Filter?

I am going to attempt to change my own Pollen Filter this week, and just wanted input and/or tips to help me simplify the process... I searched and did not get anything.

It's my understanding it's behind the glovebox. Beyond that I am not sure what is involved, but I can't imagine it's too tough.

Thanks in Advance for any help!

push in on the sides of the glovebox and the box will fall down, but still be attached at the hinge. pop the two clips that hold the filter in place, pull the filter, put the new one in and put it back. Squeeze the glovebox sides back and close it up. Literally, would take under 1min to do. Good luck, we're all counting on you.

How dare you make a mockery of me!

LOL... It's sounds even easier than I expected! Thanks for the explanation...

One last thing, the air flow arrow on the filter, the arrow should point towards the front of the vehicle I imagine (I guess I could just look for the arrow on the old one, right)?

I believe the arrow points down. It's pretty easy to follow... there's an arrow on the filter element... another on the frame... and one on the housing it fits into. Also, if you stick your hand into the opening, down is the fan, up is open (not ducted). So... logically, the air is pulled in from the top, through the filter and down into the fan (and then on to the ducting).

.

Thanks for the help guys, it was extremely quick, painless and easy to do. It took less than a couple of minutes! I am at 30k and it was almost black in color.
