Well, I just went a skimmed through the $7 "Preview". It only reminded me why I cancelled my subscription years ago. They refer to the engine as a 1.5L in the text and 1.3L in the spec, they say the car can't operate on the electric motor alone, and they say the car averages 37mpg in real-world driving.

Besides all those inaccuracies the car is highly rated.

P.S. You know on the last page of CR how they always have those ridiculous product marketing examples? I've been dying to send one in. I cancelled my subscription to CR about 4 years ago and at least twice a year I get bombarded by CR junk mail! Bastards!

That sounds like good news. Sounds like I should return my extended warranty I purchased and get a refund.

The Prius is classified in a larger class-size than the HCH2. It's mostly because of that hatch area.

Cool Re: HCHII rated of the most reliable small cars (Consumer Reports)

Car Class Size,

When I was originally comparing the Prius to the HCHII - I noticed that they both had the exact same wheelbase and the HCH was .5 in longer. The HCH also had more driver's leg room and head room. The Prius had 2" more rear seat leg room and I guess that made it a midsize. - Go figure.

.

Don
Best tank 67.5 mpg (555.5 mi.)
Best trip 91.5 mpg (42.2 mi.)
