How satisfied are you with your HCH-II ?
Seeing that this section is pretty busy in terms of user reported issues, it would perhaps be helpful for many of us to get a "show of hands" from our HCH-2 owners concerning their general satisfaction with their car.
The choices for this poll are:
Very satisfied. Its almost perfect.
Satisfied - could use some improvements, though.
Somewhat satisfied - need time to fully evaluate it.
Not satisfied (bad quality, bad service, etc)
Other (please elaborate below)
Please, do not vote if you do not own an HCH-2.
Cheers;
MSantos

9 Months (now where have I heard that number before?) of perfect flawless motoring. Same with my previous Accord Coupe! Toyota and Honda always come top of the reliability lists.

Hard not to sing praise for the rejuvenated interest in driving this car has brought back to me. Sure a few things could have been done slightly different, but hey it's a "Civic". Honda's basic needs vehicle make a another mark on it's legacy with this ....

Re: How satisfied are you with your HCH-II ?
Very satisfied.
I never considered an HCH-1, but ordered an HCH-2 sight unseen, so I vote the redesign as a smashing success!
Spoiler/trunk-lid paint-wear issue is my biggest complaint (horrible oversight).
Stereo with NAVI could have been made more user-friendly. Some functions and functionality are not intuitive.

Re: How satisfied are you with your HCH-II ?
I'm very satisfied with the car from a style and mechanical standpoint. FE is outstanding, drives very well, fun to drive, etc. I'm slightly disappointed by the interior materials feel. The materials used in the dash / shifter / etc feel relatively cheap. That's really my only complaint. I owned an '01 Nissan Sentra SE before this, and the interior felt a full step up from the HCH (leather steering wheel and gearshift, more durable fabric, more seamless dash, etc.)
I do like the material used on the steering wheel though (it feels nice), and I love the layout of the dash, so it cancels out mostly. Other than that, I love the car!

Love it. Can't look past the positives. By now, my former car (Volvo) was having lots of annoying problems that added up over the years.

"A great car" would be more of how I'd describe it.
