That would be me, Matt, though maybe others have not admitted it. I don't know if it was Electric only but it definitely did not have the pep of the stock 90-hp motor and did feel like only a 20-hp motor. That was the fill-up that took 14.233 gal to fill (shut-off at first click). I wouldn't recommend it though as not many roads have a 10 mph speed limit.

.

--> Averaged 685 miles/week and 49.0 mpg in first year (35.7k miles from Aug 7, 2006 to Aug 7, 2007)

While maintaining MPH? Do tell. When I'm on electric only the MPH goes down fast.

Not bad for an automatic, eh?

Very Satisfied. Every car I have owned in the past the honeymoon was over after a few days. After 5 weeks I am still discovering new things about my HCH II. The car rides great and is comfortable to ride in. Obviously the FE is a big plus but also using different methods to get the most mpg is fun. Best car I have ever owned.

Yea, every time I get in this thing I really enjoy the experience. It's low key, a pleasure to drive(although power takes some planning), sound system is great, can get around quickly(car pool lanes), inexpensive to drive, peace of mind due to reliability, excellent quality, better for the environment etc.

Very satisfied

Love the look of the redesign and the biggest test so far has been a trip driving 12 hours each way. It was under 500 miles at trip start and I averaged about 47 mpg. Can't wait to see what mileage is after 8 or 10,000 miles.

I've read many comments and threads from other HCH-II owners about the seats being uncomfortable. The driver's seat was incredibly good on this trip. I had much less antsiness and shifting around in the seat than in previous cars. I'm 5'10", so maybe I'm the "target user" for the seat design.

I have the dark blue with two-tone interior and I, along with almost every passenger, have to say it's beautiful.

Love my HCH-II.
