Installed LED license plate light - GreenHybrid

Since I notice that the Lexus line-up has most of their cars with LED rear License plate light, I decided to do the same. I checked with the codes and regulations and it seems perfectly fine. altering the brake, turn, and parking light is illegal if it is not DOT approved. i got them at www.superbrightleds.com

W5W's (2), a little less dramatic than the LED's which are definately 'loud' if you know what I mean.

Did you get the 10 mm ones or the 5 mm ones ????

the ones i got are called WLED-B4 which has 4 led's built in one unit.

you can even go with 6 led's which is a little brighter but a little over kill.

I searched for that term on the website, and didn't find that model, nor that picture anywhere. Do you remember what category it was in ????

go under "12 Volt Car Bulbs". then "Continue to Car Bulbs". Click on "Miniature Base Wedge Base Bulbs." scroll down and you will see the bulbs under "4 and 6 LED Wedge Base Bulbs."
